3 Steps to Getting the Recognition You Want (& Not Letting Others Ruin Your Day!)

In this blog post, I am going to reveal the 3 steps you can take to move yourself out of the low vibration of resentment and into the high vibration of your awesome self...


After coming from the school of hard knocks with little support as a young person and a whole lot of negativity coming my way, I decided that I didn't want to live feeling this way all the time, and so on my journey to living my greatness, I learned hundreds of techniques and have generated a happy, fulfilled life for myself, and I have taught my most awesome techniques to hundreds of students...


I was unknowingly following a 3-step formula that allowed me to move further into a positive and goal magnetizing mindset...




I call this formula… 'Change your thoughts, Change your life'.


And whenever things are working and clients are pouring into my programs – I’m following Change your thoughts, change your life.


And when I’m overwhelmed, cranky or confused – I know I’m not following Change your thoughts, change your life at all.


So what’s 'Change your thoughts, change your life?'


It goes like this

If you want to upgrade your life in any way...friends, workplace, attitude, success, happiness factor...in the shortest amount of time possible, you don’t need to look on 50 different facebook groups that really give you no great help anyway (and are probably full of people who like winging and being negative!) or make sudden rash changes to your life which leaves everyone you know shaking their heads...


Instead, you simply want to focus on…


1- Your current thoughts and why you are thinking them

2- Your rules for success and happiness (this ones a doozy)

3- Upgrade your beliefs and use focus


And that’s it!

You can get to the life you want with just those 3 pieces.


Really 🙂




However, when I reveal this truth I have many people ask me…


“That’s awesome Brooke! But how do I do it when I am stuck in resentment?


And what’s the best Thing I can do right now?


And what about when its someone else who is ruining my day?


If you have these same questions, don’t stress!


You see, after a lot of testing, tweaking and helping my clients and students break through to a successful life


I’ve discovered a step-by-step system that uses the principles of Change your thoughts, change your life to get you to the life you want to be living and how you want to be feeling in life, in the shortest amount of time possible...


One that cuts out all the non-essential things so you don’t get overwhelmed…


One that 'cuts through the crap' pardon the saying, so you’re not repeatedly moving back (and staying) into your old ways of thinking…



And the best news?


I’m going to reveal it to you in this post.


Sound good?


Now, just before I reveal the system, I need to share a piece of advice with you I got from a mentor many years ago, which had a profound effect on the way I viewed my life.


You see, at the time I was struggling to be recognized for my skills.


And, one of the reasons why was…

I was spending most of my time, pushing and trying to get noticed whilst all the while I was dwelling in low vibrational thoughts, repelling thoughts actually, of why am i not good enough? I must not be worth anything? Why am don't I ever get recognized for my efforts?


And I was doing all this stuff because deep down, I thought I wasn't good enough and that it was hard to be recognized for my greatness..


So I just had to work harder, I had to put up with crap and negative people and if I tried hard enough, I would be successful one day...


At the time it made sense, its all I knew.


Work hard, deliver something great, and cross your fingers...


The logic was solid.


The results?


Non-existent!


To say I was struggling was an understatement.


And so I needed help.


LOTS of help.


And so I reached out to all of the mentors I could, I knew I had to make a change because living with resentment seemed to be making it worse...


And I discovered some of the best advice I’ve ever received...


“Brooke, the problem is you’re going about getting what you want the wrong way.

In fact, you’re making it much harder for yourself because you’re putting all these barriers in front of yourself. You don’t need to keep working and pushing so hard to get recognized and be successful.

What you need is to simply Change the thoughts that you are thinking.

When you know how to think positively, to send out the vibrations that you are successful, other people will feel it and want to work with you or promote you, its just a natural consequence of the energy you put out .

Simply focus on being in the successful zone and just watch your life improve."


Great advice, right?


And because of this advice I’ve been able to author my own book and help hundreds of people...all through changing my thoughts!


So whenever a client comes up and says to me...


“Hey Brooke, I am so pissed off at so and so, they have ruined my day."


I echo my mentor’s advice…

“Change your thinking and change your life!”



There’s no faster way to get yourself out of the negative energy of resentment.


But how do you do it, right?


And how do you do it in a way that is easy?


A way where you can get them seeking you out and recognizing you even?


Well, that’s where the 3 steps come in...


And to explain how this works, let me ask you a question…


Do you ever question the thoughts behind the way you are feeling?


Particularly when you are really pissed off?


I can take a pretty good guess that you don't.


Most people don't!


I never used to!



Do you remember a time when everything just seemed to work out for you? (even getting a great park at the shopping centre car park)


The reason I ask that question is because I want you to think about this…


How did you end up getting what you wanted?


Did someone give up their spot for you or hand it to you on a platter?


No?


Well then, how did you end up there?


I’ll tell you…


You ended up there because you attracted your outcome to yourself.


Now let me ask you this…


Would it make it easier for you to get out of living the constant cycle of resentment and negativity if you knew how to do the same thing in every area of your life?


So if you knew how to attract recognition, promotion, happiness and fulfillment into your life, would that make it easier for you?


Of course it would, right?!


Well, listen up because this is how simple it is (and it works just as well even if you’re completely new to this)…


The way you got what you wanted that time is by…




Aligning what you EXPECT to happen with your thoughts of what you want to happen.


Now, it wasn’t positive thinking that got you that car park.


It was... KNOWING that you would get it, you wanted it and you knew it would be there for you right...


It was not having crappy beliefs about it...


You didn't think to yourself, "I want an awesome car park right away...but I don't think I will really get it"...


You didn't think that there are so many cars there, it would actually be nearly impossible to get a car park straight away. But I would still like one...


No...you had the THOUGHTS that you wanted it, you INTENDED to get it, you TRUSTED that you would get it and you EXPECTED to get it...


And you got it!


Whatever it was that you have achieved in your life before – it was because you aligned your expectations (your beliefs) with your thoughts in some way.


So you had a great day, you got what you wanted and you felt amazing, you felt recognized and you felt happy.



This is changing your mindset, this is changing your thoughts to change your life.


This simple car parking technique can be applied to any area of your life. The challenge comes when you have hard core, deep set, stubborn beliefs about yourself and how you deserve to be treated come and interrupt your thoughts...


(P.S. In the final blog post in the series I’m going to show you how to change deepset beliefs and get them out of your way so that you can start focusing on what you want to achieve and have happen. But let’s finish this part first…)


Now here’s the SUPER COOL part about this process…


You do NOT need to be some “expert” at mindset to make it work.


As long as you’ve got experience in your field (whether it’s dating, or leadership, or weight loss or any niche) you can move your mindset in a helpful direction by following this 3 step process that helps you to become a major manifesting genius.


And then once you have done the work on your mindset and what you EXPECT to happen, what do you do?


You get to work applying the car space mentality to what you want to achieve.



In fact, let me give you an example in this video:



It’s simple…


Ask yourself why you are feeling this way when you are upset or someone has ruined your day...


Then when you are clear on your thoughts...


Do some mindset work on getting better Expectations & RULES which will lead you in the direction that you want to go in!


Meaning, you can change how you feel right now AND start attracting what you want to yourself!


NOW, you are in charge...


Not your boss, or anyone else...


And you can get on with having a great day, resentment free...


You have put yourself in the positive zone...


I showed you what I do, in the video (All but step 3 which I will show you at the end of this series)…


Now, 90% of people won’t do this. But a good 10% of people will!


People like YOU who KNOW that to change their lives, they have to do something powerfully different...


Something only a few people do, (Think athletes, successful business people, stars, thought change leaders, successful happiness pioneers)...


Amazing, right?



This is a little secret I’ve been teaching my students for years to dramatically boost their confidence and success & happiness results.


Now, just before we end this post, let’s bring everything together so you know how this all works and keeps in line with Change your thoughts, Change your life in the shortest amount of time possible…


Your 3 step process to not letting others ruin your day contains the following…


1- Look at your current thoughts and why you are thinking them (when you are upset because something didn't work out or you are not applauded for your efforts)


2- Ask yourself what your Rules are for success and happiness (What are you EXPECTING to happen regardless of what you want to happen) - (I will go into this further in the next blog...this ones a doozy)


3- Upgrade your beliefs and use focus - Align your Expectations with your desires and make sure that your energy is powerful and positive.


So, as you can see, what I’ve done above is broken down the way you can change your thoughts to change your life into small, bite sized pieces.




Also notice how this is a rather simple process once you know how and have the right guidance?


Meaning, I’m not getting you to disrupt your life. I’m getting you to ask yourself some questions and dig a bit deeper to get rid of negative thinking and beliefs about yourself.


Be aware of your thoughts and expectations and you’ll accelerate your results.


The same goes for the rest of your problems!


As mentioned…


Because we’re changing your expectations, your deep set beliefs , you get up and running with results much faster.
